I also have always had a fondness for the scene where he gets shot. Dunno why, what with the obvious lack of agony with a bullet-in-the-head... i think he's just so beautiful falling back against the door and slumping slowly to the ground...
And why not? That scene's one of the best MacWhump moments ever. The whole thing's a dream sequence, after all, and for once the unreality of Mac being shot isn't sheer handwaving.
And the acting in that sequence is just simply brilliant. It takes my breath away (and makes up for a lot of the OTT silliness of the episode).
I love that scene too for the acting and the pretty. The ep was pretty cheesy and yet they managed to include some lovely friendship moments between Mac and Pete.
