Ack. The RTE's Daily BugF**k is taking my HTML template (used every weekend for an unmentionable number of weeks) and rewriting the lj-cut to suit itself. It does not suit me, and it won't take a fix even when the correct code is typed directly into the interface.
There. I think I've finally found a workaround that goes far enough around.
