By the time that Jack finally made it to Daniel's quarters, he'd seen people run into walls, look at him wide eyed and had actually seen Carter and Teal'c run from in in something akin to horror. In fact Gen. Hammond and Dr. Frasier had trouble looking at him.
He really had no idea what or why this was happening. But Daniel would tell him what was up.
He'd just gotten back from some time with the people on PX3-7621 and some time equaled a month.
So he hadn't had time to do much when he got back besides debrief, get checked by Napoleon, he meant Janet and head to find Daniel.
He knocked on the door to his favorite archeologist's office and walked in without really checking.
"Hey Daniel," He greeted, grabbing some doohickey off his desk.
"Oh hey Jack-OMG what the hell is that?!" Daniel exclaimed, jumping out of his chair and far away from Jack, making the leader of SG-1 look confused.
"Daniel, did you get some of Machello's space bugs again?" Jack asked, taking a step closer. Daniel backed up further and Jack was suddenly wondered if something had happened to him that the Doc didn't mention.
"No, NO this is definitely not related to Machello. Jesus get that thing away from me," Daniel yelled when Jack kept moving forward. Jack stopped and stared.
"Get what thing away from you? Daniel stop spazzing and tell me what's going on?" Jack demanded. Daniel was going to reply when General Hammond, along with Sam and Teal'c and Dr. Frasier walked in.
"There you are Col, sorry about this. Dr. Frasier forgot one part of her exam," Hammond explained. Jack turned and was again taken aback as everyone stepped back.
"What the hell is going on?" Jack asked, getting angry and not knowing why. It was then that from the piles of stuff that Daniel kept on his desk that he produced a mirror and handed it to Jack.
"You know, you could have just told me instead of reacting like I was carrying the plague," Jack said minutes later, after the offending mustache had been removed.
"But that would not have been nearly as fun as reacting like you had a dead animal on yoru upper lip Jack," Daniel answered back smugly. Showed Jack right for making fun of the sideburns.
"I still do not see what was wrong with ColO'Neill's facial hair," Teal'c added, even though he'd gone along with Sam and Daniel's joke.
"Don't ask Teal'c, unless you want us to tell you how much we didn't like your gotee," Jack shot back.
Teal'c just raised an eyebrow and Sam was grateful that she didn't have facial hair. Even though they'd mentioned her horrible hair.
