Hi. I'm your new rda_daily maintainer. Veeeery exciting. ;)

I'm not planning on changing much, if anything, really. Same rules apply. The only difference is that I'll be posting one RDA pic a day *without* a LJ cut. (See below.) I like having that quick fix as I read my flist. And you know, no pesky effort needed to click a link. But anyone is free to post multiple pics under a cut, and I'll do it from time to time as well.



Jack O'Neill will still hold the spotlight here, since I think most people are here for him, but expect to see pics from most of Rick's former projects as well.

Also, I really want to thank plant_boy and yathink for keeping this cool community going. Awesome job. When other daily communities fell dark, they did a great job at keeping this one lit. :)

I like the idea of having uncut pictures as well as larger ones under a cut... part of why I enjoy danielpix so much. easy viewing. I'm happy to see someone leapt at the chance of keeping this place going, and good luck! I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job. :D

Yes! danielpix is mostly where I got the idea. I really like that I can be reading along and then suddenly there's a sigh-worthy pic of Daniel, and then I can just go on my way again. Nice.

Oh good! I'm glad you like the idea! I just really like it the format with another pic comm, so I wanted to try it here, especially since, as much as I adore Daniel, Jack is the one who really makes me sigh. ;)

You know, it's so funny because I'd been thinking for a few months before this happened that it would be really cool if there was a RDA community that would model itself after the Danielpix community and do pics outside of a cut. And I seriously considered starting my own because I had so many caps, but I kept putting it off. And then fate decided for me. Heh!
