RDA: Welcome ho-ome! Guess who made MacGyver burgers? *proudly displaying plate* MacGyver!
Patty: We didn't have any ground beef.
RDA: Yeah, but you did have Slim Jims, a cheese grater, and rubber bands to hold it all together.
Selma: We gotta get rid of this kook.

The main plot of the ep was a letdown, but RDA's plotline was very funny. As someone responded to my last post, it didn't sound quite like him, but I figure it's something to do with the role--this was (obviously) much more lighthearted than Jack or Mac. Still don't get the bit about the blue contacts, though.

If I can make my card work, I'll make a file out of the ep and post it.

hahaha that's too funny! I was all set to watch it last night but I got the wrong time and missed it! I was so pissed. Luckily I have a friend who knows a place and downloaded it for me, can't wait to watch it when I get home. I love how he's got the quality mullet in that picture you posted! HAHA!

Er... not to be bitchy or anything, but... I really could have used a spoiler-cut for this particular post! I have this ep TiVoed but haven't gotten to watch it yet and I sort of wanted to be surprised by all elements of it, including, you know, the jokes. I realize the ep has aired and all, but it's still really recent, and I bet a lot of people haven't gotten to see it yet.

I could hear little bits of it here and there, but mostly his voice sounded a bit higher and softer. He also was using a sort of "forced joviality," at least to my ears. It worked in the plot, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I know it was weird. It was if me was *trying* to sound like MacGyver or something, unage his voice, it was little werid. I was suprised by the pitch of his voice!

Yes, thank god for the internet - I'm in Australia, and, like those in the UK, I didn't want to have to wait forever to see this ep...!
I'd be very interested to hear the story behind the contacts...
As it was, 'the 3 greatest names in the history of television', RDA (not mac or jack), I also expected more grey in his hair ;) But they did get his eyebrows right, imho..
